Bluesfest 2014: Legends announces extended lineup

This year the City of Chicago is scaling back its Bluesfest to just three days, but Buddy Guy’s Legends is doubling down with more than a week of non-stop blues action. First we’ll be providing two days of music to the 57th St Art Fair on our new South Side stage. Then we’ve got the Blues Hall of Fame awards, the Chicago Blues Challenge, the XRT Blues Breakers broadcast (featuring Johnny Winter, Ronnie Brooks, Shemekia Copeland, and Todd Mohr) and the Blues Today Symposium (with American Blues Scene and OnePatient Global Health Initiative). And, of course, lots and lots of live blues from some of Chicago’s finest musicians.

Here’s the complete schedule of events, starting on June 7th and going all the way through June 15th.  We’re also streaming live all week long!
