Intimate Concert Series – Chante Moore

Chante-Moore-2-Hi-ResFor the next installment of our Intimate Concert Series, on July 19, we’re very pleased to welcome back Chante Moore, who is required listening for any connoisseur of R&B and jazz vocalists.

The winner of both an NAACP Image and an American Music Award for her work on the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack (1995), Moore is also a two-time GRAMMY nominee, and the recipient of a Soul Train Music Award for her collaboration with R. Kelly and Ronald Isley on the hit song “Contagious” (2001).

Moore’s debut album, Precious, was certified Gold in 1992. Throughout the years she has been featured on the soundtracks of New York Undercover and How Stella Got Her Groove Back (1995), as well as Big Momma’s House (2000). In addition to her solo work, she has collaborated with numerous musical luminaries, including Prince, Kenny G, El Debarge, Boyz II Men, Damian Hall, and Kenny Latimore, who she was married to until 2011.

Aside from recording and touring, she has recently starred, along with Kelly Price and Dawn Robinson of En Vogue, on the reality TV show R&B Divas: Los Angeles.
