Buddy Guy Nets 37th BMA for Born To Play Guitar

BMA3The Blues Foundation recently announced its winners for the 2016 Blues Music Awards, and the man himself has come out on top again.

That’s right, folks: Buddy Guy has followed up his Grammy for Born to Play Guitar with two wins at the BMAs–one for Best Contemporary Blues Album, and the other for Album Of The Year.

No stranger to either ceremony (this year’s Grammy was his seventh), the two BMA awards put Buddy’s total at 37, which is the most in history. From everyone on staff at BG and Legends, congrats!
