Jeff Beck is set to celebrate his five decade plus career in music with a special performance date at the world famous Hollywood Bowl this summer. Making this occasion even more special, Jeff’s friend, blues icon Buddy Guy will be joining him onstage. This thrilling event will take place on August 10th.

“Sharing the stage and this moment with Buddy is a dream for me,” Beck said in a press release sent to Guitar World. “His concerts are legendary, and the music world would be a very boring place without his influence.”

A double inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in 1992 as a Yardbirds member and again in 2009 as a solo artist, Beck has also earned eight Grammy Awards. His record releases inspire new genres of music as Blow By Blow and Wired were among the first works of what would become “Fusion.” He has also used his talent to introduce an entire new generation to the music of the late, great Les Paul.

Buddy Guy is a true living legend, and just won his 7th Grammy Award for “Blues Album of the Year” with Born to Play Guitar. Seeing these two guitar giants together is a once in a lifetime experience you don’t want to miss!
